Calm before the storm

Apart from the positive issues like the new race format, which I think today will truly represent the excitement of this sport; the big story is all about aerodynamics and Nicolas. How is it that a relative unmodified edge 540 can have such an impact in the first race? Nicolas has generally been the right man in the wrong machine, has he now shown (especially with the reduced energy into the track) top speed aerodynamics have much less of a role to play. Power, weight and agility must surely rule. With racing about to start and winds calmer than yesterday we should see some faster times. Unless it’s much hotter on the track I am predicting several sub 1:26’s - can I fly the Breilting MXS-R to a sub 1:25?
